The median price of a condo in 2008 was $158,000 (down 19% from 2007). The median price of a home in 2008 was $199,500 (down 8% from 2007). Foreclosures have helped to drive down the prices even lower than normal market pressures and bargains are being snatched up by smart and aggressive buyers. It would be a great time for you to pull cash out of your present home or investments and use it to help purchase a bargain here at the beach. The Baby Boom generation is already looking to our beach as a preferred vacation/second home or retirement destination.
